Checklist for Competition
Clean, pressed shell top, skirt and bloomers
Clean Shoes
Competition socks
Hair clean, up high and neat, hairsprayed
No jewelry, no fingernail polish
In your bag you may want to bring brush, hairspray, bobby pins, hair clips, safety pins, etc….
A few things to remember
Don’t be late! This creates stress on everyone!! Call us if there is a problem!
Have a healthy meal the night before. Carbs will help with extended energy throughout the day, so plan pasta for Friday!
You may feel a little nervous and unable to eat -Have a light breakfast
Avoid sleepovers the night before competing.
You may want to pack a bag with healthy food/snacks/drinks.
Bring as many family and friends as you can to cheer the girls on. We get credit for crowd participation!!
How you look is part of your score, try to stay neat and avoid messy foods while in uniform.
Attitude is everything! Carry yourself with confidence.
Be kind and respectful to the other squads (even if they aren’t to you)
Do your best and have fun!
Saturday Feb 28th - Rec League Comp.-Lake Forest Middle School. Arrival time at the competition is
9am. We will be meeting at 8am at the McDonald’s at APD 40. We will leave McDonalds at approximately 8:40. We will arrive
at Lake Forest as a team. Competition begins at 11am.
Saturday March 7th - YMCA Cheer Competition-Cleveland YMCA. Arrival time at the competition is 9am. We will
be meeting at 8am at the McDonald’s at Paul Huff. We will leave McDonalds at approximately 8:50. We will arrive at YMCA
as a team. Competition begins at 10am.Please arrive dressed in full uniform and Hair up in high ponytail. Please curl hair!
We are working on getting new bows and will have them by this time. Decorate your cars with words of encouragement to the
squad for our caravan to the school!
Parents and family!-
Remember to participate in the first cheer “1,2,3,4” with the signs-
(Yell with them on “GO EAGLES“),
“All you fans” (Clap with them)
and “Eagle Spirit” (Yell Blue and White with them)
